Wearing your copper jewellery is the best way to keep its shine. If worn against the skin, your copper jewellery will change colour according to the acidity of your body.
Copper kept in the open air and not worn every day will oxidise, changing to a darker colour. Simply wear your jewellery to bring back its shine. A simple rub with lemon juice or polishing cloth will also do the trick. If you love the ocean, cleaning your copper jewellery in the salt water and sand will polish it up beautifully!
Storing your copper jewellery in fabric or a resealable plastic bag will decrease oxidisation and maintain its original shine.
